CH. REN REN's DARE DEVIL 4xW 1xL When Renren’s ELECTRA won a hard fought battle against a dog from the LDC camp despite a dislocated shoulder incurred from catmill training and passed away three days later, Renren went looking for a dog of similar breeding. He tried to buy her dam from the breeder.

Unfortunately, the said dog had already been bought by another group. His search led him to 3BK who was selling a male off Powergrip’s BANJO III and JADE called BENJO. Renren was happy to see that the said dog almost had the same features as his ELECTRA and so he bought him on the spot, brought him to his farm and renamed him DAREDEVIL, in memory of ELECTRA.

DAREDEVIL was carefully schooled and was first thought to be as an average dog with just enough gameness to get by. Renren was hesitant to open his weight but was eventually persuaded by his group to give the dog a shot at the box. They found an opponent with NYPD’s BRUJO at 33.5m and several weeks later, DAREDEVIL made his debut at box.

The match began with DAREDEVIL showing what he did during his schooling days, doing just enough damage and staying away from trouble whenever he could. He had his moments with BRUJO early on, but it wasn’t until halfway the fight when DAREDEVIL showed his worth. After regaining wind, he went for BRUJO’s face and stayed there to control the fight until BRUJO’s face became a bloody mass. A turn was granted in favor of DAREDEVIL and he came out his corner like a bat out of hell. When it was BRUJO’s turn to scratch, he stood the line and made DAREDEVIL a 1xW in 0:36.

The victory gained Renren more friends, among of which were the boys (and girl) from CMK, who eventually took him into their fold and helped DAREDEVIL with his succeeding matches.

For DAREDEVIL’s next match, Renren and the rest of CMK had their sights trained on Southernmen’s JOEY 2xW. But because of weight issues, the match did not materialize and instead CMK found another with LPC’s JAMBARU. Right after the dogs were released, DAREDEVIL found a solid front end hold that rendered JAMBARU helpless and screaming in pain. For a good ten minutes, the fight was all DAREDEVIL. JAMBARU momentarily showed his worth by giving the same punishment that DAREDEVIL gave him early on, but the red dog took him by the face for defense and slowly and methodically broke down the defenses of the LPC dog. A little past the half hour mark, a turn was called and JAMBARU refused to budge from his corner; making DAREDEVIL a 2xW.

For DAREDEVIL’s championship match, CMK wanted to go against the best thirty-three pound game dog at that time and CH HTK’s RASTAH was it. However, RASTAH was unavailable at the moment and the next best contender was WPD’s BUTCH 2xW. The hook up was made and on November 2006, the great warriors met to prove each other’s mettle.

The match began with DAREDEVIL bulldozing BUTCH back to his corner, but the WPD dog retaliated by taking DAREDEVIL by the leg and driving the latter back to his own corner then gave him hell for the next half hour. BUTCH pushed DAREDEVIL to go on defense with relentless assaults while DAREDEVIL would sneak in a few punishments of his own whenever he could, but BUTCH would always pay him right back. It was a good thing that DAREDEVIL stayed on BUTCH’s face, otherwise the WPD dog would have done him in. At 40 minutes, DAREDEVIL got his second wind and took the offensive by punishing BUTCH on the face until his opponent’s face was a real bloody mess. DAREDEVIL kept biting harder and harder and on the fifty-minute mark, both dogs were down on the carpet from sheer exhaustion. It was then that BUTCH showed the spectators that he was no push over. Even when he was down, he got hold of DAREDEVIL’s stifle and shook like the mean freak he was. This mad DAREDEVIL yowl in pain got Renren worried. The WPD camp had began chanting “Champion Butch! Champion Butch!” and taunts had began flying from one camp to the other as well. When the out of holds count was completed at the full hour mark, Renren noticed as he carried DAREDEVIL to his corner that something was bothering his dog. Meanwhile BUTCH was screaming for more from his corner. There was too much blood when Renren wiped his dog’s face, but none of it was DAREDEVIL’s as he noticed his dogs face had no severe damages. That was when Renren figured out that DAREDEVIL had swallowed too much of his opponent’s blood and it almost cost them the game. DAREDEVIL made up for this and rocketed out of his corner when the release was ordered by the referee. BUTCH was able hold DAREDEVIL off for sometime, but everything else went downhill from there. BUCTH refused to take even one step further when it was his turn to scratch (much to the surprise of many, including Renren himself) and DAREDEVIL was a champion in one hour and three minutes.

DAREDEVIL was given a full year to rest and recover after his fight with BUTCH before he was campaigned again. There were no other logical opponent for DAREDEVIL was he made his way up the pitbull ladder but CH HTK’s RASTAH. Negotiations were made to make the match possible, and after a few difficulties regarding the bet, the fight was on.

DAREDEVIL came in hot and heavy when they met in the box and made the necessary adjustments to counter whatever RASTAH had for him and dish out his own salvo. DAREDEVIL was first to scratch and he came blazing back to the fray. RASTAH did enough to stay in the fight and scratched back when it was his turn. Again DAREDEVIL made the most of every opportunity and once again shot out of his corner on his turn to scratch. When RASTAH went for his second scratch, he was unable to beat the count and DAREDEVIL was a 4xW in just 28 minutes.

T and G, The same people that introduced Renren to CMK convinced him to go for a shot at the grand championship title. Through their persuasiveness, Renren agreed to go against a 1xW son of Lycan’s DIMAS called CUBA who was with SOUTHERNMEN.

Renren’s misfortune began during DAREDEVIL’s conditioning when he was not given by T and G the right medicines and his SHE-RA 1xW was stolen by the same people and was sold off to Saudi Arabia. Renren tried to keep his head up despite this and believed that DAREDEVIL could still bag another. But CUBA was something else. Right from the start, CUBA overwhelmed DAREDEVIL despite DAREDEVIL’s valiant attempts to ride his face. DAREDEVIL may have had his moments but after three scratches, he was done for. CUBA eventually won four more and became a 6xW.

DAREDEVIL might have lost, but it was against a very tough competitor.

Devastated because DAREDEVIL’s loss and the theft of SHE-RA, Renren quit the game and retired DAREDEVIL. The dog lived for another year as a pet and then died on May 18, 2010. CH. Renren’s DAREDEVIL 4xW, 1xL left behind some notable offspring. When he was bred to CH. GEK’s BONNET, the product was GEK’s Snatch 2xW, another superb athlete. But perhaps the most popular direct offspring of DAREDEVIL would be CH. RTK’s JUMONG 4xW, his son out of his own daughter from the famous BWK’s SLICK POR 2xW and JE’s DYNASTY, MJK’s WANDA.
